Type PPGEE proportional pressure relief valve is a remote control (pilot) valve with a conical seat design.
They are used to limit system pressure. These valves are driven by proportional solenoid with integrated electronics (OBE).
With these valves, fast response times with low "hysteresis" rates can be obtained.
The basic principle
In order to adjust the system pressure, a set point is set at the starting electronic component. Based on this set point, the electronic component controls the movable iron core. In the cone position and in the compression spring position. This position control ensures very low "hysteresis". This magnetic force determines the spring force until it reaches a new position.
If a wrong person is born in an electronic component, the pressure limit is used for maximum safety, so the electromagnetic current (Imax) will exceed its specified level in an uncontrollable situation. This pressure cannot exceed the level determined by the maximum spring force.
